We have enjoyed a wonderful holiday weekend. I am thankful to live in a nation where my children can pursue their dreams. Whether those dreams are an advanced college degree or a life working to entertain, in the USA we are free to do what we dream and aspire to become what we want. We gather freely with family from anywhere in the country, without intrusion by the government. In hard economic times even, we are still free citizens.This is possible in no small part to the fact that so many people have served in our nation's military forces to keep our nation free. Our holiday weekend of family, food, and drink is only possible because of the sacrifices of so many others. For these things I am truly thankful!
